Reed Absorbs
Reed Absorbs work by collecting moisture or
saliva that collects at the bottom of the reed
in your practice chanter. They Can be used in
both practice chanters and pipes with Polypenco
stocks where moisture is a problem. These reed
absorbs come in packs of 12
Absorbent disks per package. Most people will
notice that on hemped part of the practice
chanter, that there is usually a buildup of
moisture after playing. This will help collect a
large part of that moisture.
